A short discussion about how the internet and new communication technologies are being used to bring together people who want to make changes to their communities/governments/organisations etc. It argues that the greater access to communication that these technologies provide means that we no longer need to rely on the media to meet or form groups, and this in turn empowers the average person to make the changes in the world that they desire. I think this video provides an interesting perspective on the positive aspect of increased communication avenues because of the internet; often we tend to focus on the negative (e.g. social networking sites and issues with privacy).
